Postcard: Ukraine, “A Boy Model”
If you’ve been around awhile, you might remember that I used to share postcards weekly as part of Postcard Thursday. Well, I’d like to bring that back again. I received this one from the Ukraine (through Postcrossing – check it out if you haven’t before!) The person who sent it to me also sent me […]
Postcard Thursday: Kennywood
Hey! I got this postcard from Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh, PA. (Yay for another actual place I’ve been to out of my postcards!) I have family in that area, so it’s an amusement park I’ve been to a few times! It’s a great one. I don’t know though.. having grown up right by Hershey Park, […]
Postcard: Dollywood
Hey! I acquired this postcard in Dollywood. We went to Tennessee on our one and only family vacation growing up. I don’t remember much about Dollywood itself, except being dragged to boring shows, haha, and a few rides. But I do remember seeing bears. I also got to ride a horse, ice skate and go […]
Postcard: I love North Carolina
Hey everyone! So, this week’s postcard speaks for itself. My mom was from Pinebluff, North Carolina so that’s how I have this one. And I do love North Carolina! Though, I’ve only been to Pinebluff and the Outerbanks on vacation, but I have been there. The last time I visited Pinebluff is a town that […]

Postcard: Rural Pennsylvania
This week’s postcard is from my home state, PA! It kind of sums of what I think of when I think of home. Pennsylvania A tranquil rural setting with golden fields nestled among rolling hills. This is the Pennsylvania countryside. As was done a century ago, horses still pull machinery up and down the fields […]
Postcard: Gadsby’s Tavern
Well, my Postcard Project is back! I hope you don’t mind because this is one of my favorite things, haha. If you don’t remember, this is where I share postcards out of the collection I have, which is made up of a mix I inherited from my mom and her mom and also my own […]

Postcard: Geneva on the Lake
(Shh, I still have 12 minutes of Thursday left). This is from Geneva-on-the-Lake in Ohio, which is on Lake Erie and I’ve been once with my family – we drove up randomly one day from the Pittsburgh area, where they’re from. it’s really pretty and peaceful.

Postcard: Smoky Mountains
I pulled this postcard out of my “non-written on” part of the collection. I used to grab postcards from everywhere back when they would have them at visitor’s centers/truck stops. This one was from when we went to Tennessee back when I was in elementary school. It was the only real vacation we ever went […]
