I feel like book reviews/talking about books doesn’t really fit this blog, and even if it does technically fit, it doesn’t really open up the door for rambling about books constantly, lol.
If I started a book blog (reviews, new releases, hauls, chatting about books in whatever other way) would anyone here be interested in reading it? I personally read literary, YA, some chick-lit and the occasional Beverly Lewis or John Grisham. Lately, I’m on a YA kick which I could see lasting for awhile. I like to branch out as well and try new things, but I really don’t read a lot of genre fiction (the “categories” in mass market, like sci-fi, romance, mystery, true crime, that sort of thing). I read non-fiction as well, but I imagine I would not include it much in this hypothetical blog haha.
Personally, I think I really suck at writing reviews. I find it difficult to sum up a book without actually giving anything away, but it’s something I’d like to try.
We get the keys to our new place on Friday, so we’re going to start moving in this weekend! I’m really excited! I hope that means I’ll actually be writing new posts soon. Gosh, I suck at timing. I had that giveaway, got all these new readers, and now I’m abandoning you. 😛
