Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch at Larriland Farm and it was the very first time I have ever been to one! We got there a bit late and ended up running out of time, so I didn’t get to check out the barn where there were other fruits and veggies. We got three pumpkins, one for carving and two other smaller ones for our porch.
We did get to pick apples, and the only time I have ever done that was when my mom and I would pick crab apples and eat them right off the trees along the railroad tracks near our house growing up. We ended up with 20 pounds of them. I guess better learn how to make apple pie and apple butter and apple jelly..
