strange habits

I have this strange obsession with watching election results come in. This is in general and completely separate from the politics, the results themselves, the election itself or my own opinions, etc. I simply love the act of watching the projections filter through, looking at the percentages, watching the numbers climb and change, and staying up all night if need be (the two previous Presidential elections are the ones I’ve been old enough to participate in, so it should be interesting to see any changes to what I’m used to this year). I love how opinions are minimal at this point and it’s simply a focus on analyzation and the numbers themselves. Although I prefer to get my news itself from the internet, the television is required for this particular act. Is this bizarre?

    I love your new layout.

We’re watching the election results right now too (only we are using the Internet - BBC’s live coverage). It is exciting. Hah, especially since my husband is an Obama supporter while I’m hoping for a McCain win.

thanks! I love this layout so much. I hope it doesn’t look too scrapbooky, since this isn’t a scrapbook blog.
