valentine’s day

When Husband came home from work, he knocked on the front door and out on the front porch I found a big teddy bear holding a rose, and then soon, a husband peeked out from the side of the house.

Then he came in and gave me a dozen roses (plus that one the teddy bear was holding, so 13 roses!). And he gave me a wonderful, super sweet card AND a box of chocolate covered cherries– the super yummy kind with clear liquid and not the gross nasty white goo.

I greeted him all dressed up.

And, of course, since I know my husband’s heart, I gave him a card and a transformer.

After all that mushy stuff, we went to Olive Garden and waited in line for three years! This is only, I think, the second or third time I’ve been there, and dang they’re yummy.

Then we came home, did some marital-type stuffs, and watched A Beautiful Mind.

The day had a rough start, but I think it worked out in the end.

But, don’t forget, the day is not complete without the standard cattop.

And lots of exercise to work off all of that food we stuffed ourselves with!
