So, I went into Wal-mart to get some cold medicine, generic Ny-quil and now you have to be of a certain age to buy it. I suppose that isn’t odd since they have age limits and regulations on all sorts of things, and do not allow you to buy more than two boxes of Sudafed at a time (yay Meth captital of the U.S.). The weird part was the required age. It was 19. Why 19? Isn’t that a bit arbitrary?
You can go into war but you can’t purchase cold medicine. (It’s bad enough you can go into war and not drink alcohol legally.) Hmm, wouldn’t want to do anything potentially dangerous now would we..
